Meet Dianna

I’ve had a song in my heart for as long as I can remember, one that felt ready to burst out even as a toddler, crooning alongside my mother as she sang in the church choir. I grew up immersed in music, singing in choirs, performing in every local musical theatre production I could find, and even singing in a rock band. These experiences led me to earn a B.A. in Music and Psychology from Smith College and a Master of Music in Opera from the Longy School of Music.

After more than 20 years working in the classical music world as a performer, church soloist, and choir director, I discovered my greatest joy: helping others find and joyfully express the song in their hearts.

When my children were young, I searched for a fun, relaxed program where they could explore singing and performance and be exposed to a wide range of repertoire. When I couldn’t find one, I created it myself. What began as small group classes soon grew into a thriving voice studio offering private lessons for singers of all ages.

More than two decades later, I remain deeply committed to my students and to my own growth as a teacher. As the demands of contemporary music and stage performance evolved over the years, I knew I needed to level up my teaching to better support my students’ goals. In 2022, I became certified in Levels 1 and 2 of The Maddie Tarbox Studio’s Evidence-Based Voicework™ Pedagogy Program, training that has proven to be the perfect complement to my classical voice foundation and given me infinitely more resources to quickly and effectively help my students improve and achieve their goals. I’ve also completed coursework with leading voice experts, integrating elements of Somatic Voicework™, Neuro-Vocal Method, Estill, Meisner in Music, and more into my teaching.

A curious, lifelong learner at heart, I continually seek out the latest research in vocal technique, vocal health, and contemporary styles. My goal is simple: to help every student sing with confidence, joy, and authenticity in their own unique voice.
